After separation, a new tape should be replaced over the scar immediately. White tape should be used if the scar is anticipated to undergo stress, such as occurs with sports or repetitive use of the affected area.
    2. Apply SCAR FIX twice daily (morning & evening).
    3. SCAR FIX is applied on top of the tape surface.
    4. Remove tape every 5 days or when it lifts, replacing it with clean tape. Continue for 4-6 weeks.
    5. Thereafter apply SCAR FIX directly to the scar until the scar reaches maturation (a period of up to 6 months or when the scar turns white.

Key Ingredients:

Centella Asiatica: The primary active concentrates of Asiatica are triterpene saponins:

  • Triterpenes are anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antimicrobial, and anti-tumoral agents. Their sapogenins which are mainly responsible for wound healing are:
  • Asiatic acid – An antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial agent.
  • Madecassic acid – found to have a preventive effect on postoperative hypertrophic scars.
  • Asiaticoside – increases wound healing abilities, increases collagen synthesis, and strengthens th skin. It also has anti-inflammatory properties.
  • Madecassoside – speeds wound healing through its anti-oxidative activity and enhances collagen synthesis
  • Cantharis: – a fast-acting soothing anti-inflammatory that relieves and helps speed up skin recovery of burn wounds, sunburn, blisters, skin eruptions, and insect bites. Keeps wounds moist whilst promoting epithelialization to reduce healing time and trauma associated with skin conditions that resemble burns, promotes circulation, and hydrates skin.
  • Calendula: is a natural wound healer, it is anti-inflammatory. Inflammation causes the breakdown of collagen, which is necessary for the wound to heal regeneratively. It has immediate soothing effects. The anti-inflammatory properties are from the flowers, with high quantities of the potent flavonoids, saponins, and triterpenoids needed for scar healing. Calendula prevents the release of histamines, which can caus redness, pain, allergy, and inflammation. Calendula is rich in essential fatty acids, softening the scar
    tissue.
  • Flavonoids are powerful antioxidants, which help protect your skin against free radical damage.
One clinical study shows significantly decreased healing time for C-section scars. The healing properties come from calendula’s ability to increase blood flow and oxygen to the skin. This increased blood flow to the scar tissue equals more nutrition and ultimate health
